Lost Stories

This is a repository for formerly recced stories which have, as far as my google-fu could tell me, disappeared from the net. Simple copy/paste from old location. Links will not work.

Creating Life by lovewithapathy [Lotrips]
[Dominic/Orlando; PG]
I am so utterly in love with this story. It's heartbreaking and beautiful and always makes me tremble a little in the end.

Death-Coloured by Gloria Mundi [Iliad]
Slash. I like how past, present and future are interwoven in this story.

From One To Another by Cordelia Wallace [Black Hawk Down - RPS]
One of her characters had me seething. I wanted to smack the second. The third left me feeling worried. However the reaction will be, you'll react to this story. First person POV rarely convinces me: I buy every word in this story. Author's working on new chapters.

Kinderreim by Becca Ming [Lotrips]
Slash. Sparse prose and invocative. Imperfect characters, men who don't know how to say what they want to say. Just ouch. It'll hurt your heart.

Ovid's Blessing by lovewithapathy [Lotrips]
Gen. My inner mythology geek does somersaults! This is not only beautifully written but could also be read as a rather ruthless commentary on fan worship.

makes the heart grow fonder by Karri [Lotrips]
Slash. Sex that's not all that perfect, well-drawn characters in a story that's layered through with the couple's issues.

A Strange Constellation by Becca Ming [Lotrips]
[Viggo/Orlando]
Understated writing, beautiful imagery; the words just flow. Interesting, layered characters with little quirks. There's something tender/calm about it.

Summer by Elizabeth [the O.C.]
Het. Slash. Very convincing Summer voice.

Twilight by Cas [Lotrips]
First person POV and stream-of-conciousness! Terribly angsty. The imagery completely sucked me in with its quirky, unusual details. Author is missing in action.

Wherever The Road May Lead by Sai [Lotrips]
Slash. This is how I like angst: understated, with a sharp edge.
