Lost Stories

A Bird and a Beast by Belinda
Slash. Legolas and Fangorn, both strange and disconcerting, but they grow on the dwarf. Delightfully in-character.

Beauty by Victoria Bitter
Gen. This story has beautiful language and gives an insight into the motivations of Legolas. It is dark without going overboard. All in all, a poignant little story.

Engastrimyth by Merripestin
Slash. The first sentence captivated me. I held my breath reading this because it hurt so much. I have a soft spot for Sam!fics, and this one's lovely.

Feasting/Just Dessert by Quiseyes
Slash. Like a fresh breeze. Amazingly vivid, with lovely characters. A playful story with lots of humour. A story I reread constantly.

How To Save Your Marriage by Eleveninches
Het. Slash. What's a king to do if his queen refuses to produce heirs? Absolutely hilarious. I've gurgled myself through this one. Unadulterated crack.

The Orc's Tongue by Lobelia
Slash. Orc!fic. A very interesting read. Somehow it didn't squick me in the least, even though Lobelia didn't spare the reader harsh details.

Marble Skin by Penelope Z
Slash. Possibly my favorite A/L story in the fandom. Shilling angst. Vivid language. I've read it ages ago and it still stays with me.

Phantom Pain by Victoria Bitter
Slash. Everybody and Gollum recced this. For a reason. After all this time it still makes me want to cry. Devasting... just devastating.

Taming Legolas by Cheyenne Dancer
Slash. Het. Hot! You won't recognize the characters but, trust me, you won't care much. Have fun with your cold shower afterwards! Hasn't been updated in ages, though.

Thread of Fate by Forodwaith
Het. There's a quiet strenght in Arwen that this story shows off wonderfully. It tells about her own secret labours against the shadow.
