Accessesory by Calico
[Dom/Orlando - NC-17]
Now this is twisted. I can't quite decide why to rec it. It's blistering hot but ice cold at the same time. Let's try this: even if 'this' Orlando is the last man on the planet, I wouldn't touch him.
Ai! Aniron Legolas by Dale Edmonds
Slash. Angst, so much delicate angst. Great characterisation. You'll cry in frustration when you come to the last paragraph. No update planned.
Bizarre Love Triangle by Namarie
Slash. A lovely story, sweet but not sticky.
The Boy and the Box by Belinda
Slash. Orlando is just so delightfully neurotic in this fic.
Broken by Icebun
Slash. Efficiency of words to the most possible impact. So beautiful it made me shiver.
Candy Perfume Boys by Brenda & Val
Slash. It's one of the most hilarious things I have ever read. I laughed tears. Don't try to eat or drink while reading it, you'll only make a mess. The plot is on crack and I can't even begin to describe the characters.
Chiaroscuro by Val
Slash. Orlando's confusion is really well done here. I like the slow developing of the plot.
Coming Home by GirloftheQ
Slash. Nice, slow built up. Genuine banter. Full of lovely throw-away lines and details.
Communion by Val
Slash. Angry!Orlando and much fun and mind-blowingly erotic.
Creature Comforts by Mcee
Het. It has all the tiny details that bring characters to life and paint a scene in vivid colours.
Deconstructing Legolas by Lemur
Slash. I like how real especially Orlando seems in this.
Diptych by Zarah
Slash. The style of this story is very unique, almost like music. You know, like in classical pieces, the different instruments have their own theme, but the truly magic thing is when they wind around each other, spark off each other to create something together.
Eating Out by Nancy
Slash. Cross-dressing fic doesn't come any hotter.
Fall by Sheanie
Slash. Creepy, haunting, nightmare inducing wing!fic.
Fate by Brenda
Slash. Well-balanced angst. Quiet and subtle and ow.
Fix by Kate
Slash. How much do I love fucked-up, unhappy relationships? This aches, in a good way.
f/stop by Cherry
Slash. Very visual and detailed, atmospheric. I rarely buy a Viggo characterisation, but this one I do.
fucked by Buffet
Slash. It's not easy to fine a perfect balance when writing angst, buffet has managed with this.
Fun & Games by Brenda
Slash. Brenda dares you to follow her into a world of dark desires. It's harsh and violent, but it's love. (heed the warnings on her site.)
The Hunters by untitled06
[Billy/Viggo/Orlando; AU] warning: incomplete
Vampire AU that reads like original fiction. Untitled06 writes like she's taking photos: searching for the perfect lighting, the right angle; which makes her stories incredibly three-dimensional and vivid.
Illing by Hetre
Slash. Wonderfully experimental. I love the last line.
Ingenue by Betty Plotnick
Slash. A character piece. You come out knowing more about Elijah. At least, you think you do.
Leaving It by Dee
Slash. Characters with edges and insecurities, real people. Nothing told but everything shown, and then Dee leaves it to the reader to decide what to make of it. I very much appreciate that.
Method Acting by Honey
Slash. Knife-sharp and subtle.
Mexico by Eternal Bloom
Gen. This is a self-contained story inside a RPG. Vampire AU. I couldn't not rec this. Hauntingly beautiful language, it flows like music.
noche mexicana by Cee
Slash. This is poetry in the way the words resonants in the reader's mind, the rhythm of it. And it proves how powerful (andomghot) a few well-chosen words can be.
On Words by Veuki
Slash. Achy and layered and subtle. Unusual stylistic choice, too, which makes it even more lovely.
Plumbing by Dee
I adore Viggo in this. You can almost hear the characters speaking. It starts out as crack!fic (author's words, not mine) and before you realize it you're in the middle of an amazing story.
Positivity by Rave
Slash. Rave is gifted when it comes to dialogue. Many authors try for realistic and funny yet never quite get it right, this author does. The characters simply jump off the pages. The story's witty, cute, and the boys actually act and talk like boys.
Pretty Animals by Chicane
Slash. The characters speak to you even though no word is uttered. As natural and easy-going as the relationship that the fic describes.
Rover and Dom by Lobelia
Slash. This is kinda cute if only you skip the end. Oh my, you will never look at stuffed animals the same way.
She by Cee
Het. Slash. Reading this made me feel as if someone held my heart in their fist and slowly started to squeeze.
Shark by Abundantlyqueer
Slash Oh dear, talk about taking a metaphor and running with it.
Shiver by Azrhiaz
Slash. How can something this creepy be sexy at the same time? A very sensual story with lovely imagery. The last line'll make you shudder.
Tempus Fugit by Dee
Het. Slash. Watch Dee kick fanon in the shin.
Two by Zarah
Slash. There are stories that make you squee for the characterisation, stories that make you gasp because of the sexual tension. This one is neither and both combined. I wanna write something like this when I grow up.
Waiting by Cinzia
Slash. A delicately layered story with believable characters.
Wrong To Love You by Jenn Abiding
Slash. If you 'get' the story, it won't leave you alone again. There's something about it that speaks to my heart. The series is high on the smut and even higher on the emotions. Every word is carefully chosen; every scene, every word has a meaning. I've read the stories more than twenty times by now and I still find details I've missed. It's one of my all-time favourite universes.
